![]() Stress Testing – Develop test cases that stress the resource requirements of the selected Impress feature. Specification sources might include User Manuals on the OpenOffice website or user help screens. Specification-Based Testing – Find specification documents for the Impress feature and test the actual implementation of the given specifications. Risk-Based Testing – Identify the most likely risks with the use of the selected Impress feature and develop test cases to study those risks. Select two other functional testing paradigms from the set discussed in class. Explain your reasoning behind the selection of your exploratory test cases. Exploratory Testing – Use your own experience and devious nature to develop interesting test cases that you believe will lead to the discovery of defects. Use different Impress features for three functional testing paradigms – Exploratory Testing and two paradigms of your choosing. Part 2: Functional Testing Paradigms For these testing exercises, use the Impress presentation module of OpenOffice. You may create equivalence class test cases for more than one feature within the module. Use strong robust equivalence class testing to build the test cases to be executed. Equivalence Class Testing – Based on the input domain, define an appropriate set of equivalence classes for functional testing. You may create boundary test cases for more than one feature within the module. Use the robust testing method as described by Jorgensen in Chapter 5 to build the test cases to be executed. Boundary Testing – Identify one or more input parameters on a feature within the spreadsheet module to perform boundary testing. Prepare test cases for at least two different features within the Calc module. Part 1: Boundary and Equivalence Class Testing For these testing exercises, use the Calc spreadsheet module of OpenOffice. ![]() The assignment is in two parts to match with the material presented in the two classes (Module 3 and Module 4) on Functional Testing techniques. ISM 6145/4432 – SOFTWARE TESTING SPRING SEMESTER 2015 TESTING ASSIGNMENT 2 – Due: MaSubmitted By: Udit Mahajan, Phanindra Atmakuri The goal of this assignment is to demonstrate your understanding of functional testing techniques by developing test cases on selected modules of the OpenOffice application. ![]()
